Override Lockscreen - spookybathtub - 2014-05-15 What does this option in Settings do? When I saw it, I hoped it would show the now playing controls on the iOS lock screen, but no such luck. RE: Override Lockscreen - joethefox - 2014-05-15 it prevents the device from locking when is enabled and the app is in foreground RE: Override Lockscreen - spookybathtub - 2014-05-15 Ah I see. What about the other thing I mentioned, is that possible or something you're interested in? When using my phone to control the home jukebox, it would awesome to have the iOS now playing controls on the lock screen. RE: Override Lockscreen - joethefox - 2014-05-15 Yep, you are not the first to ask this feature. I'll look if it's doable without tricks RE: Override Lockscreen - Don Tomato - 2018-03-06 Hi, reading this tread I'm quite surprised that there "was" a setting that disabled the iOS screen-lock to be engaged while the Kadi remote app is active. I have the newest version of both iOS (11.2.6) and the Kodi Remote app (1.5.7), but I can't fine any other setting to be adjusted but to add a remote host. What have happened to this feature? For those that use Kodi Remote on an a phone it's an essential function. Going trough the system settings of the iOS to disable auto-lock each time when watching a movie is not fun... :-( Please revert this feature. Thanks! here's how to do it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28329185/how-to-prevent-screen-lock-on-my-application-with-swift-on-ios |
