Editing Timeline View Possible? - Indyplumber - 2014-05-20
Hello.
I'm going thru all of the PVR options for XBMC and so far I am liking serverWMC and the plug-in the most.
But I'm wondering if I can edit the timeline so that it won't allow you to go back in time on the guide. I see no point in that for my use.
Also, is it possible to remove the Blue "timer" bar that crawls along the EPG?

This isnt specific to our addon, it's in XBMC itself and applies to all PVR addons.
There was a long debate about the introduction of this particular "feature" in the general PVR development forum, but the end result (after some 170 posts!) was that there is indeed a way to disable the past EPG entries, via an AdvancedSettings.xml entry called LingerTime. Set it to 0 and apparently you wont have any past entries anymore. Not sure what that does in respect to the Blue bar..
