how to.. IPTV channel list ? - Swiper the Fox - 2014-11-02
So, just curious to know if there is a way to create your own 'working' list or
list you prefer to have, working....
I would much rather have my own list of 20 or 30 channels i like/use than to have 400 + and now know which work and which don't ?
everyone have a different flavor of channels
Either IPTV Simple Client (EPG /channel list ) OR FTV EPG list or any for that matter.

Fox......If you've found an IPTV channels list (or more than one) just copy and paste the channels that you want onto notepad....give it a name.m3u and save to your computer drive. Open to configure your iptv simple. client and point your "local path" to where you stored the .m3u file you created.
BTW...the individual who created the iptv list you found may have a url for an EPG. In the EPG section use his url under remote path. hope this helps.

Add this as the first line:
#ENTM3U
Add the following for each channel (sample channel 850 - ESPNHD) tvg-id is for the EPG.
#ENTINF:-1 tvg-id="i850.28460163.microsoft.com" tvg-name="ESPNHD" tvg-logo="/hd/espnhd.png" group-title="Cable",850 ESPN
http://yoururl:8888/play?channel=850&tuner=4&bitrate=1000&resolution=480&redirect=true
adjust as needed.
