Just applied updates on Ubuntu 14.04 and now LiveTV is broken. I am running Kodi 14.0-Beta1. I see this message in the kodi.log -

Updated to Kodi 14.0 Beta2. MythtTV PVR addon dependencies not met.

Build the plugin from source and you should be all set.

I am not using the Kodi beta, but I know the cmyth plugin is no longer valid in the new Kodi. There should be just a mythtv plugin to now use. Look in the PVR client addons to enable

I also get this after an update from gotham to kodi RC1.
I did the built from source solution.
Works but now i get a black screen when trying to view any recordings or liveTV

The new mythtv plugin is IMO a vast improvement over the cmyth one and is easy to build as well. Why would you want to stick with a plugin which I believe is no longer even supported for kodi anyway.

Janbar has created a ppa for the add-on, details are in the add-on thread.
