Failure to play any liveTV or Recorded TV - sparticle - 2014-11-15
Ok so tried the latest nightly build 13/11, The problem is partially sorted.
It plays videos and TV shows but will not play any recorded tv from the pvr.mythtv client. All of the recordings play fine on all other devices (Rpi, Ubuntu Etc.) somtimes it will stop at 8 secs before it has switched into full screen and other times it will just exit back to android, seemingly the same symptoms as previous builds on all videos but just on recorded mythtv or any liveTV from Mythtv backend. Client settings all seem fine and the mthtv client gets all backend info. Just wont play anything.

From the log, problem is with libstagefright not working on your device.
Try this:
Go into System Settings Video and make sure Settings Level is set to Advanced.
Now select Acceleration then deselect Allow hardware acceleration (libstagefright) and select Allow hardware acceleration (MediaCodec).
