I having trouble reading the divx from my DVD ROM - Printable Version

i have a sansung dvd rom and when i play the movies without subtitles it loads great , but when i turn the subtitles on it takes about 15 mintes to load the mmovie, and i'm using the media player version of the 21.10.03.

please somebody help me.
