Running recordings do not appear in recordings list - sprotznock - 2014-12-28

Hiho,

running recordings do not appear in the recordings list until they have been finished.
When I restart KODI they are immediately there and I can start playing them - fine. From VDR side
it was never a problem to play back a running recording.

But it looks KODI does not update its recording list until the recording has been
finished.

Is there anything I can do in terms of configuration or so?

I am using KODIbuntu 64bit. These are the package versions:

Code:
kodi                       2:14.0~git20141223.1015-final-0trusty
kodi-pvr-vdr-vnsi          1.9.22-3trusty
vdr                        2.1.6-8yavdr0~trusty
vdr-plugin-vnsiserver      1.1.0~git20141008-a7cb405-0yavdr0~trusty

Thanks!

works here with vdr 2.1.6 compiled from source. did you enable "allow vdr messages" ?

First thanks for the quick answer!

I disabled it because I thought this means showing vdr popup messages
and was not aware of the further consequences.

I just enabled it but currently can't test because of active recordings
I don't want to disturb (Darts championship - yeah! Smile). Will report soon
whether that solved it.

Thanks!

Ok - I tested with another channel on same transponder.

And yes - it works! This is quite an important setting to get
KODI and VDR well in sync!

Is there any good reason to disable "allow vdr messages" at all?

Thanks!
