Hello!
I have mythtv backend and xbmc frontend with mythpvr addon running on linux.
Sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched for days now and allmost Will go back to Windows mc 7....
So please help?
This works fine BUT:
1:
after a while watching live TV the stream stops and pvraddon say it lost connection.
If I start same Channel again its fine for a while. Then same issue.
2: no epg and I have no idea how to fix.
3: sound is not ok, in movies and there is let say talking, its fine but if there is a quiet part in movie it seems all background sound in movie is enhanced by 1000% and creating a very unpleasent noice.

How about giving some more information e.g.
Version of mythtv backend
Version of xbmc/kodi
Version of mythtv pvr addon
Type of tuners on the mythtv backend
Also a debug log would help

Hey. Sorry ofcourse.
1: this happens sometime and I Dont know why.
2: EPG
This was fixed by installing xmltv and in backend "source setup" and in field for EPG there was more options after installing xmltv.
(And run "fillmydatabase" after.
3: sound amplification option when click on the speaker icon when playing movie. (Dont see this option anyware Else)
I LOVE this media center
Its totally awsome in many cases now when all is set up correctly.
Windows mce no more!
