Kodi 15 pvr.mythtv not starting - lhassell - 2015-04-06
I apologize for being a bit new here- please bear with me.
I've just set up a new mythtv backend (latest version Mythbuntu) so I could use it to run my HDHomerun. I am using Kodi v15 on a Nexus Player, but while I can access the backend from the web, Kodi won't start the PVR client. I have set up the backend as described in the wiki (security PIN 0000, no IPv6 address, etc...), and when I set up the client, it will do nothing for a while, then Kodi freezes and I have to kill the process. Is this an android issue, or is there another place I should be checking? Any help is greatly appreciated.

FWIW, I would try Kodi 14 from the stable PPA. I haven't gotten v15 to work yet with myth-pvr but 14 is fine

No luck. It doesn't seem to like the PVR client for some reason, even on 14.2.

Is there anything in the log file that might help?
