pvr.mythtv add-on feature request - option for EDL scene markers w/o comm skip - Kirtlander - 2015-04-08
Would it be possible to either enable the commercial cut list marks from MythTV only as scene markers but not publish them as commercial breaks when you select the option to turn off "Enable commercial skips (EDL)"? This would give Kodi the default behavior of Mythfrontend, which for me, is preferable given the sometimes inaccurate commercial marks in US broadcast TV. Or perhaps a third option on "Enable commercial skips (EDL)" called perhaps "Scene Markers only"? This is basically the last thing stopping me from replacing my power-hogging Mythfrontend boxes with OpenELEC-enabled Rasperry PI 2b boxes or an Amazon Fire TV. My wife won't be able to deal with the quirkiness of the automatic commercial skipping behavior or lack of any option at all to skip on demand.
