Kodi iOS Remote app can't detect Kodi - embreeb0627 - 2015-04-24
I've been struggling with getting an IR remote to work with Kodi, but I found the Official Kodi Remote app for Kodi, so I installed it. Once I hooked up my RPi2 w/OSMC to my network and told the app to Detect Kodi, it worked just fine. Later, when I had to swith network cables to the RPi2, the app will no longer detect Kodi. I've tried different cables, different ports on the router but still it won't connect. I know it's got a network connection since the activity light is flashing on the ethernet port. However, I have not checked to see if OSMC has an IP as I don't have a keyboard for it (it's at my GF's place and I didn't bring a kb with me). I don't get why it would connect once but then not again. Suggestions?
