This is not possible atm because the way the player (including retroplayer) in Kodi is designed allows only one item to be played at a time.

I build DLL addons for enterprise software for a living. In my profession, any time someone asks a question like this is:
"Anything is possible given enough time and money"
and I give them a big smile.
That usually gets them to take a step back and rethink their request.

You apparently didn't read my entire post.
I stand by my statement.
The point being is that anything can be done if you're willing to pay for it. If the OP is requesting the feature, how much effort and/or cash are they willing to put towards making it happen? None? Well then it's not likely.
Just like in my job... "Well we'd like it to automatically pull all this data and provide it in a neat, easy to read format. We're not increasing your budget"
Well ok, we'll put it in the "We have nothing better to do, so why not?" pile and move on then.
But saying "It's not possible" is incorrect.

Your point is irrelevant. There's isn't a "feature request for a bounty" forum. His options are to do a normal feature request through the forum and hope someone does it, or he does it himself
