Can't Switch Profiles with iOS App - bsotak - 2015-06-29
I just set up two profiles and when I went to switch them controlling with the official iOS remote, when I log off to select between them, I can't switch. It looks like the connection goes away. I've scanned through and read quite a few posts related to this problem and it seems like it's a problem of event server vs json-api. I've tried Commander and Sybu and neither of those work as well. Commander says it's connected via event server, and that doesn't work. I believe the official app uses json-api, and that also doesn't work. Is there any way to actually connect and switch profiles via iOS??

Same problem here. I finally set up Kodi profiles to utilize my different emby user libraries for my family to access on the main TV, but sadly, I had to disable profiles because the Kodi iOS remote does not function. Waiting for a solution to pop up... but I see this problem has been around for a long time
