Submenu update library - method115 - 2015-08-04
Is it possible to have "update library" option set as a submenu. Looks like you can only add favorites to the submenu

Don't think you can but it's a good idea. I'll see about adding it in the videos submenu.

Awesome thanks. Would be great if you could add it as a custom submenu option as well.

I've added update library as an item in the video and music submenus - configurable (off / on) in skin settings.
Adding it to the custom submenus would be a bit trickier to do consistently and because it would have to be hard coded in for each separate menu (regardless of that submenu's content) I don't think it would really flow well - so for now, sorry but that's not something I'm planning on doing.
