Remote Commercial Skipping - abrombo - 2015-09-28
I am running ubuntu 14.04 with the mythtv pvr addon. I have enabled recording with commercial skipping with dialog. Everything works fine. I run mythlink.pl to get named links for all the recorded programs. I can play the recorded programs on another computer on my lan running ubuntu and kodi via smb and the named links. I there anyway to enable commercial skipping on the remote computer which does not have mythtv or the mythtv pvr addon installed (the remote computer has no tuner card installed)?

This forum is for pvr.mythtv. not your setup.
You could set up a script to generate a edl file from the mythtv database.
