Why does the view mode change every time I change menus or programs? this is highly annoying when I am using a remote. especially when i am in easy advanced settings add on, it changes to gallery mode every time I click something. I would like to set it global to default low list or info list. sometimes it does not give me any options for view modes at all. other than that its the best skin on kodi.

The skin doesn't remember the view modes, that is handled by Kodi. I've never heard of the easy advanced settings addon, but that's where I'd look. Sounds like that addon is defaulting to gallery view.

a lot of add ons default to gallery that was just an example because
it doesn't have any pictures to show yet it goes to gallery and shows me a big empty box. every time I change it it goes back to gallery when I click something

I've never seen that with the addons I use, you'll have to check with the addon authors. The default view is List view.
