Issue with HiFace 2 interface - SebFrench76 - 2016-03-28
Hello,
First of all I'm new on the forum : my name s Sébastien an I come from France.
Here you have my configuration :
Kodi is installed on an app of my NAS (QNAP HS 251)
My NAS is connected to my TV by HDMI and to my amplifier by a DAC and an interface USB-S/PDIF : M2tech HiFace 2
I want my audio output on my amplifier with the Hiface 2. The device is recognized on the audio device choice menu (see below), but no sound on my speakers when selected. The sound still come out from my TV (HDMI) whatever the chosen output.
Any idea to resolve this issue?

enable passthrough and select your SPDIF device there also, select/deselect any formats your amplifier doesnt support.

I am using a TS 251, so I dont have a separate audio output. I connected the HDMI to the amplifier and from there to the TV.
Could that be a solution for you, too?
