BlueRay, 3D and 4K Overlay Boxes for Covers - daclina - 2016-04-27
Firstly, kudos to the author for making and supporting the best skin ever
. I loved Aeon Minimalist for XBMC 13 and was super happy when I saw that Mimic was very similar and even cleaner, and was actively maintained for Kodi.I would like to suggest a feature whereby the movie and tv dvd covers get an overlay depending on type. If I recall correctly, in Aeon if it was a 720p video, it picked up the blueray overlay and if it had a "3dbd" in the filename it would pick a 3d bluray overlay instead. I think that is super cool and would love to see that feature as well as extending it to support 4k bluray covers too (ie. have it look for "4kbd" in the filename).

Sorry, not a fan of the dvd/Blu-ray covers. Someone else would need to add this.

I think you have a point and I agree - those overlay covers don't look great or fit with the neatness of the theme. I guess I should have been clearer about the feature request - all I am suggesting is some form of a differentiator between SD, HD, 3D and UHD indicators on the covers (similar to the watched indicators in the top right of the covers). Do you think that is something you can incorporate?
