is there a way to add an option in the skin settings to have a clock and date on all pages?

I wouldn't have thought of Kodi is a cheap clock? But it's already got the time n the home page, and while watching a video the OSD comes up with the time. Perhaps running Kodi in a smaller window, with the MS desktop clock peaking through would work, or the task bar clock showing up at the bottom of the screen would suffice? Some screen blanks are clocks, might be easier to just request that instead of a black screen, it's transparent and resizable? For myself, I'm watching a video to escape time.
