Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick - Doxlike - 2016-05-10 Hello, i want to watch Live TV over DVBViewer in my bedroom. Is it possible to use Kodi with a FireTV or FireTvStick and a DVBrecording service? Or is the performance to low for Live TV? Did anyone test this before? Thanks RE: Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick - manül - 2016-05-10 Performance shouldn't be much of an issue if video and audio decoding is done in hardware. Most problems I've heard about are because of the firetv hardware. e.g. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=225359. No idea if that has changed. RE: Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick - laola - 2016-05-17 I am using the Amazon Fire TV for TV (via DVBviewer plug-in) once in a while. EPG does take quite a long time to show up and the channel swiching times aren't that fast - but beside of this it is running pretty well. Even more reason to maybe implement transcoding support alreadey for Kodi 16? ![]() |
