Add smart-playlist as menu item on home screen - Nicolai - 2016-05-13
Hi,
I've created a smart playlist with cartoons for my kids and a smart playlist with regular movies.
In the home screen customization, how do I tell a menu point to hit the playlist, instead of normal movies?
I can't seem to find anyway to select a playlist in the customization. Should I use a custom action? If so, what should I put into it?

Smart Playlists should be inside "Video Library" -> "Playlist"

This seems to just give me an action to open the list of playlists instead of a specific one.
Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss something?

Enter your playlist and click "create shortcut from here" or something similar.

I'm probably completely clueless, but how do you mean "enter your playlist"?
If I just goto videos->playlists->kids (playlist is called kids) I get the list of items in the playlist. I can't seem to make any shortcuts.

You have to use the home menu editor.

Yea I did use that.
I ended up getting it to work. I'm not sure if there's an easier way, but I put a custom action in, that looked like this: ActivateWindow(Videos,special://videoplaylists/kids.xsp,return)

I have exactly the same problem with AEON NOX SiLVO v9.0.1
After creating a smart playlist and choose an entry for main Menü, my new created smart playlist is not listed under the playlists!!
Tried many times, deleted and recreated playlists...
Did it many times before, but now the smart playlist es are simply not listed for the menue entry.

if you are having the same problem as someone from 2016 that would be incredible or you havent updated since 2016
why would you report your issue to the Nebula skin support section when you are using AEON NOX SiLVO v9.0.1?
