Help me install MythTV. - Entropy - 2016-05-14
I've been searching & searching and just can't seem to find a guide to how to record shows with a raspberry Pi and OpenELEC.
This is all new to me, and I'm having a hard time understanding front ends, backends etc.
I have 1 Raspberry Pi 3. I also have a Mac and a couple USB drives.
I've enabled MythTV & MythBox.
I'm tyring to follow this guide, but I'm already stuck here: "To use it first you have to enable the API services of your backend" as I don't know what my backend is (in this context anyway).
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

This isnt a forum for getting help Installing Mythtv. You might want to start with the Mythtv site: https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Setup_General

Make sure you have a TV tuner card, and a TV source.
