Addon fails to load on Krypton nightly - richardk - 2016-05-22
Just a heads-up:
This was in the log:
06:07:10 T:6040 ERROR: PVR - Add-on 'MythTV PVR Client' is using an incompatible API version. XBMC minimum API version = '5.2.0', add-on API version '1.9.6'
06:07:10 T:6040 ERROR: PVR::CPVRClients::UpdateAddons - failed to create add-on MythTV PVR Client, status = 6

API version 5.2.0 has been supported in Janbar's doityourself development branch since Fri Apr 22.
Probably you're still running an older version of the addon (i.e. one for Isengard which uses API 1.9.6) rather than the nightlies which are on the way to becoming "Krypton" and currently use API 5.2.0

There doesn't seem to be a link to 'Krypton' compatible ones, but you might find a .ppa for that as well somewhere (I'm on Gentoo and roll my own, so can't say for sure ;-)
Otherwise, you could try 'updating' the addon via the addons menu. You might get lucky :-).

Kodi says "There are currently no updates available for this addon".
But I'm sure this will be sorted out in due time.

This is resolved with the May 24 nightly build. It loads the MythTV PVR addon version 4.5.1.
