Sync Home Menu customizations across kodi boxes - Shawzborne - 2016-06-04
Hi Everyone,
Is there a way that I can sync the home menu customization across Kodi boxes in my house? Even If I have to copy and paste the file locally is fine with me. Would just save me some time everytime I get a new kodi box to setup.

I think you should be able to do so by copying the files in the folders relating to the skin (skin.arctic.zephyr) and in the skin shortcuts folder (script.skinshortcuts) (needed only if you use custom widgets) inside the "add-on_data" folder. The "add-on_data" folder should be located inside the kodi folder in your home directory.

well i think the easiest way if your setting up new kodi boxes with the same configuration is to use the kodi backup addon...thats what i do to keep identical setups with my AZ skin configuration.
Simply take a copy of the backed up zipped file and then copy this across to your new kodi box and use the backup addon to restore
