[REQUEST] DAZN (The netflix of sports) - asleulv - 2016-08-12

Dazn is currently only available in germany, switzerland and austria.
Surely it should have an addon?

i know there are addons for Dazn in Europe but is there one that would work in Canada? The Dazn app through google play works like crap.
i tried installing the addon which i found on Google but it did not work. the season is just around the corner. Help please

The addon should work globally. But due to drm its limited to os and kodi version.
What system and kodi version are you using?

Hi I'm also from Canada trying to use the DAZN addon, I've updated to Kodi 17.4 RC1 for the compatible version of inputstream.adaptive.
I'm able to login but nothing will play, I'm on windows 10 pro btw.

Ok that shouldnt be a problem.
Install a 32 bit!(not 64) browser such as chrome (if you dont have already), search your system for libwidevinecdm.dll and copy that file to %APPDATA%\kodi\cdm.
Also download and move the ssd_wv.dll to this folder.
If you're still not able to play content please post a debug log.

Note: the ssd_wv part shouldnt be necessary but i couldnt get it to work without for some reason after a short test.

There are a few special builds for kodi 18 that support drm playback for android out of the box.
But i have no idea if they are working on the nexus player

Do i need to put those dll files somewhere in the kodi installation on my nexus player aswell?
I was able to install and sign on with dazn addon on kodi 18 on my NP, but when i try to play something i get this error: addon couldn't be loaded , cant load shared library.

The binaries are not required for android.
Im not familar with android so i cant really help here. But probably the nexus player is not supported. sorry.
Can you post a debug log please, just in case.

I got it half working with the latest nightly build of kodi 18 , it plays for a couple seconds if i have hardware encoding off, picture is all pixelated too though, then it stops playing, where can i find the kodi logs?
