Amazon + inputstream on pi - drdwridav - 2016-10-14 Hi What are people's currently experiences of trying to get Amazon prime video working on pi? I have sandmann's addon mostly working now on a milhouse build. Films play as do most tv series. I just find that current tv series which release a weekly episode only give sound (no picture). Seem to be getting 1080p now as well having experimented tweaking the Inputstream settings (well codec info is saying 1920x1080 anyway!) RE: Amazon + inputstream on pi - tepreece - 2016-11-19 I have been working on trying to get this going on my Pi recently as well. From what I can gather, Amazon have recently changed their DRM, such that the supplied version of libwidevinecdm.so can no longer decrypt newly-encoded content. I believe (but may be wrong) that the x86 version of the Widevine library does work, so I assume we're just waiting on the Widevine developers (Google?) to release an updated version of the library for ARM. Some confirmation from someone who knows more about it than I would be useful though! |
