Kodi 17 doesn't start - luismgh - 2016-10-23
Hi there,
Tried Kodi 17 updated from 16.1 Jarvis on a WeTek Core (AMLogic S-812 H). Kodi started, saying preparing for the first run and then shows the the message "Migrating DataBase, please wait" after 2 seconds, closes to android main screen.
Uninstalled Kodi 17, rebooted and made a fresh install. Same issue, Kodi starts, saying "Migrating DataBase, please wait" then closes to android main screen.
Updated to Kodi 17 Beta 3 from Alpha 2 version on a Wetek Hub (AMLogic 905 H). updated fine without issues so far.
On WeTek Core, returned to Kodi 16.1 Jarvis.

Supported hardware (wiki) Kodi v17 will require Android 5.0 or higher. SPMC (wiki) might be something to look into.
