Hidden on screen controls on splash video start? - krth8 - 2016-12-21
I am using a video as a splash start.
It is showing the on screen controls when it starts up. any idea on how to remove this?
it does not show the on screen controls when i play a movie from my library.

How are you setting your splash video? Are you using the skin setting for a startup playlist? Just tested, and my splash video played without the player controls popping up.

Yes i am using the startup playlist function in the skin.
I should note that i am on v16.1
Is there something i could remove/add in the startup.xml or is that not linked to this function at all?

Are you using a mouse? That's the only reason I can think of that would cause the player controls to pop up.

Yes but i launch and operate with keyboard only. Tried this in krypton and the on screen controls did not appear.
