Kodi 17 Restore from Backup problem - Addons and Repo needs manual enable - ssarava9 - 2017-02-14
I have this strange behaviour from Krypton version, after restoring the backup im not able to use the addons immediately, i have to go and enable all the addons and repositories one by one MANUALLY , this was not the case during Jarvis 16.1
Anyone have any solution to this as its taking more than 30 minutes for complete restore and enabling all addons and repositories ?

is there a better way to restore from a backup?
Is there a reason why all addons and repos are defaulting to disabled?

It's a security measure introduced in Krypton for any addon installed via routes other than from a repo.
The aim is to make things more difficult for 3rd party piracy build makers.
