grouping by recording directory not working - payback007 - 2017-02-19
Hi all,
after update to Kodi v17 the grouping by recording directory is not working any more.
working: Grouping by
- first letter
- channel
not working: Grouping by
- recording directory
- series
Has anyone an idea what I configured wrong?

Hi all,
already created an issue, but I don't know if it's a bug of the plugin or if I can do some other settings to get it sorted.
I can imagine this is no major topic and there are much important ones and much work. Anyway the plugin does a great job, but it would be helpful to know, if I did something wrong or it's a bug.

My grouping (as i know it from tvheadend etc..) also did not work...

Has been fixed in June (https://github.com/manuelm/pvr.dvbviewer/issues/13) and is included in both Leia and latest Krypton. I'll mark this thread as resolved to prevent confusion.

Ok, grouping is working with 17.6 - but one thing is a liitle bit strange.l
the directory name has problems with german umlaute e.g. ä,ü,ö,... and the letters are all small

Not sure why the umlauts are gone, but the lower case can be fixed.

I fixed the lowercase bug on the PVR side today, however the DMS also lowercases the whole filename. So although I fixed the bug it still remains unfixed for you. I couldn't reproduce the bug about the missing umlauts though.
