Deinterlace stuttering issue on iOS - Hewitt - 2017-06-14
Stream live tv from my Dreambox800se to my idevices(iphone 6s/ipad mini 2/ipad air 2), ios versions including 10.2(jailbroken) and 10.3.1(unjailbroken). The same issue happen on all my idevices.
No matter the streaming is SD or HD, I have to turn the "Deinterlace method" - Off in Video Settings, or the live TV starts stuttering. And when turn the deinterlace off, the pic are really bad.
Do you guys have the same issue?
Anyway, when I play the live TV on Kodi for Mac or windows, I do not have to set up anything about video, it plays well.

Don't use Kodi on your iPhone/iPad. I've been using Blackbox Pro since day one and it provides a far better experience (on iOS) than Kodi. Don't get me wrong, I'm using Kodi as well (on my Odroid C2 with LibreELEC) but just don't use Kodi's front-end on iOS.
PS. My devices are jailbroken as well (iOS 10.2) and I don't have any issues with Blackbox Pro.
