PVR VU+ and VUultimo 4K, keeps buffering - B3rt - 2017-07-29
Ho can i setup this correctly?
My VU+ ultimo4K has a 1GB eth connection, i am running kodi on a rapsberry pi2 connected with 100mbit
I installed the VU+ addon on kodi and configured it to use it on port 8001 on the IP of my VU+
When i bootup kodi it loads the channels and i can select them in live TV.
When i do this it starts streaming but i keep getting 'buffering" message on top of the screen, this every 10 seconds.
When i watch a movie there is NO buffering, it just works.
When i install kodi on my laptop and try live tv with same settings it works fine, no buffering etc.
SO how do i setup my kodi on my raspberry pi that i can watch TV normally without these (very anoying) buffering messages?

You should consider using port 8002 for a transcoded stream: Extensions-Transcoding Setup
Set resolution to max. 720p.
