VNC can not connect after period of inactivity - bill_orange - 2017-08-15
I frequently manage Kodi using VNC. It is responsive and works very well but I have one problem.
If my receiver and TV have been shut off and Kodi has been inactive for a considerable period of time, I can not connect VNC. I am not using power saver or screen saver features with Kodi 8.x. Kodi is not hung. I can initiate a reboot with the appropriate JSON string and VNC is up and running. This turns on the TV and receiver which may not be desirable.
I have checked every setting that I can imagine. Any ideas?
