Testbuild rev #12185 - WiSo - 2008-03-18 Another one: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=87054&package_id=260464&release_id=585323 DTS and AC3 should work. For other fixes see the svn change log. It's still alpha and we give no support. For problems/bugs link a pastbin of the full log and explain what you're doing to reproduce the issue. - nmirza - 2008-03-19 i'll ask a dumb question at the expense of incurring somebodies wrath, but i havent done any ugrades to xbmc before this. i have installed xbmc based on the guide provided in this forum. i have no downloaded the above file as well, which containts xbmc.exe, libcmyth.dll and visualization.s now i know i can jsut copy ove rthe visualzation 2 files into vis folder, and ive also located the dll at xbmc\system so i can overwrite the file. but the previous version used xbmc_pc.exe, while this has xbmc.exe. should i overwrite xbmc.exe with this file (renaming this to xbmc_pc.exe so i dont have to change the bat file)? thanks - spiff - 2008-03-19 no need for the bat file just launch the new exe. and yes to the rest - bigbw - 2008-03-19 everything perfect, except for video issue.. screen looks like it has 4 sections.. only upper left section has good video.. here is log.. http://pastebin.com/m1ec1e131 - Hitcher - 2008-03-19 Video still runs fast with no sound when digital audio is selected. http://pastebin.com/d68757b54 - WiSo - 2008-03-19 Did you clean your profile.xml and profil dir? Has nothing todo with the video and audio thingy but I wonder about your log and the mappings of the directories. It still looks wrong for me but didn't remember seeing this in my log. Anyway have to check that. Also pointing to sample data may help even though I can't reproduce everything due to missing equipment. - indigocc - 2008-03-19 bigbw Wrote:everything perfect, except for video issue.. screen looks like it has 4 sections.. only upper left section has good video.. here is log.. Ive got the same problem on my mediaenter. Its got an ATI x1200 onboard videocard with HDMI output. Im running 1080P. On my gaming PC ive got no problems. Its got a Nvidia 8800GTX graphics card. Both got the latest drivers. Any ideas? - PANIC! - 2008-03-19 FIrst of all i awesome work! I am a long time suer of xbmc for the xbox. Now i tried xbmc for widnows and it works great! Only one problem which is noticed: Videos don't play when video stacking is enbaled. xbmc just freezes. When i disable it, the movies play fine. Her is the debug.log http://pastebin.com/m76c53950 - Cocophone - 2008-03-19 Is full screen working with this build? - indigocc - 2008-03-19 Cocophone Wrote:Is full screen working with this build? yes, just start it with the -fs option. Like: xbmc.exe -fs - WiSo - 2008-03-19 Guys, are you really sure you used a fresh t3ch build and cleaned the $user_home\XBMC directory? From your log the P: drive mapping is wrong, it should be equal to the T: drive. My log: Code: NOTICE: Q is mapped to: E:\XBMC - indigocc - 2008-03-19 WiSo Wrote:Guys, are you really sure you used a fresh t3ch build and cleaned the $user_home\XBMC directory? It was first time I installed XBMC on my mediacenter, so yes. :-) But I doubt that a graphic glitch on ATI cards can be caused by directory problems. The screen is divided in four. The top left square contains the video. In the 3 remaining squares a faint shadow is moving around. And the color is distorted on the video square. I have tried all render settings and resolution. No go. - dpassent - 2008-03-19 have the same issues on my x600pro, no problems with my nvidia... DP - dpassent - 2008-03-19 well... this is surprise... after deleting XBMC folder in my user homedir - almost everything works fine. Picture is OK. Can't make subtitles work tho... DP - bobrooney_78 - 2008-03-19 yep, tried .avi, .wmv, .mpg - everything plays fine on a ATI Mobility Radeon X300 |
