Kore not connecting on private network 10.0.0.x - tfmeier - 2017-11-05
I am trying to connect to a Kodi instance on 10.0.0.x. Both Kodi and the Android phone Kore works on are connected to the same network but when I try to configure the media server from within Kore it says it can't connect.
Kodi is setup properly as I can successfully connect to the same Kodi instance when I'm on 192.168.2.x. Why then go to 10.0.0.x? Because that's the network directly on the router and I want full bandwidth for Kodi.
Can't figure out why the difference. Any help much appreciated

All networking debugging starts with ping. Can you ping the kodi machine from your phone/tablet?
