Why not simple move instantly instead of copy first then delete source? I hope is an easy change/fix... Best Regards! RE: File manager: SMB move instead of copy/delete - spiff - 2017-11-17 it is supposed to use rename. which platform? RE: File manager: SMB move instead of copy/delete - ArianHD - 2017-11-17 Embedded Android TV 7.0 on a recent Sony model with KODI latest version installed from Play Store. It should(could) work on v18, which has updated samba. edit: only now noticed you said move file, so what spiff said. RE: File manager: SMB move instead of copy/delete - spiff - 2017-11-17 everything works fine on my ubuntu box. the code should be identical on droid. are you sure you're not renaming across shares?
