hi
does anyone know how to get the widgets on the front page to auto refresh?
the main kodi installation already picks up new tv|films and adds them to the library, the remote clients use a sharedDB therefore also see the new tv|films but the widgets dont update unless you restart kodi.....

The widgets automatically update for me. If I watch something then come back to the home screen, they automatically refresh. Have you tried a fresh installation?

You can force them to update by using the ReloadSkin() command. This is available by default from the power menu (press S on keyboard).

i have 4 installations throughout... on the main installation where i watched the episode, yes it updates, on the other shared devices no...
