RP/OSMC not playing nice - dshorrosh - 2018-04-18 Sorry to be the nag tonight, but . . . I'm not exactly sure when this started, but my RP/OSMC rig has started having serious issues with PVR and Live TV using PVR.wmc addon connected to ServerWMC on a Win7 PC running Krypton. PVR - After watching recorded shows for 5-10mins, image will freeze and system will become unresponsive, then the screen displays a series of predominately green vertical stripes. I have to unplug power to reboot. No log to upload. Live TV - Intermittently, picture will freeze after ~10mins or so, but respond to remote commands. See log at https://paste.osmc.tv/dutivegevi. Thanks in advance for any assistance! RE: RP/OSMC not playing nice - krustyreturns - 2018-04-20 What happens if you just play one of these wtv files directly with kodi in OSMC? RE: RP/OSMC not playing nice - dshorrosh - 2018-04-25 I don't know how to do that step. I speak just enough Raspberry Pi to get OSMC running. Another point of consideration -- if I leave Live TV playing for an extended period, say overnight, it's frozen when i turn on the TV the next morning and I have to reboot. Thanks for your time! RE: RP/OSMC not playing nice - krustyreturns - 2018-04-25 Just move one of the problem wtv files to a directory that kodi looks in for videos, then just play it from the kodi menu rather then using live-tv. I'd need to the swmc log for the playing overnight problem. FYI, playing for extended periods takes up a lot of space on your server machine, any chance it runs out of space? |
