Stopping LiveTV automatically generates a scheduled recording - dapharsyde - 2018-04-22
Hi all -
I just upgraded my Mythbackend from v.27 to v.29. I've noticed now that when I stop watching a LiveTV channel, a scheduled recording is created for the entire duration of the show. This results in a lot of unwanted recordings, and also ties up the tuner for no good reason. Is there a new setting I need to adjust to prevent these scheduled recordings from being created?

I noticed in the mythbackend output: Changing from LiveTV to RecordingOnly, which led to this solution

During the mythconverg database upgrade process, my recgroups table got renumbered. After resetting these 3 groups to id's 1, 2, and 3, stopping LiveTV no longer generates a recording.
