Movie Thumbs are of Actors and Not the Poster - the_crooked_toe - 2008-05-23
n00b here. I read through all the posts here and even through the XBMC faq and i'm still stuck.
I have all my movies in one folder. I have imdb set to download information and create a thumbnail for each movie. Is there a way to set it so XBMC displays the Movie Poster because right now it displays a picture of the actor/actress from a scene in the movie. I am using the latest install. Hopefully I'm just missing something that is in front of my face. And i want to say thanks to the devs on this because it looks like i finally found a HTPC front end!!
also, i know weather is broken because weather.com changed their format. Im not a dev but I know they have already fixed this in the carPC community. take a look here

It work for me (I edited the xbmc.exe file).

ok i got it figured out. i had to uninstall xbmc an delete the Application Data. on reinstall i setup it up correctly and now its downloading the IMDB data. sorry for n00bing it up.
