Mame Emulators Addons missing in Kody Retroplayer 18 Nightly - davidl77 - 2018-08-30
Ciao.
the installation of:
https://github.com/garbear/xbmc/releases/download/retroplayer-18beta1-20180823/kodi-20180823-b49535b9-retroplayer-18beta1-arm-armeabi-v7a.apk
on Android is fine. Wveruthing should work fine but amongst the addon, the MAME emaulators are missing.
Could you exaplain me why?

Yes. We need volunteers to create add-on XML files for them. This is really simple, just copy the game.libretro.mame repo and change the dates and URLs. We need:
- game.libretro.mame2000 - based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2000-libretro
- game.libretro.mame2003 - based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2003-libretro
- game.libretro.mame2003-plus based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2003-plus-libretro
- game.libretro.mame2010 - based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2010-libretro
- game.libretro.mame2014 - based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2014-libretro
- game.libretro.mame2016 - based on https://github.com/libretro/mame2016-libretro
Is this something you could help with?

There's no need to waste time on writing that stuff manually. I've updated https://github.com/fetzerch/kodi-game-scripting/ to include them: https://github.com/kodi-game?q=mame, PR for the binary addon repo is https://github.com/kodi-game/repo-binary-addons/pull/7.
Upstream libretro migrated a few newer cores now from handcrafted makefiles to directly use CMake. This is not yet supported in kodi-game-scripting so these have to wait until I find time.

That's mostly what I'm seeing. I was building debug so the symbols added a lot of weight.
