Split folders for TV Show creates duplicate show in Library - Tommiiee - 2018-09-25

Hi,

I have a problem with a TV Show from which the files are on 2 different drives. The wiki states:
Quote:3.2 Split folders
Split folders are TV Shows that have episodes split between two or more folders located in different Sources. This may occur when a long running show is progressively saved on one drive but, over time, the drive has been filled with other content, forcing you to save new episodes on another drive.
To ensure these split TV Shows are correctly scraped as the same show, you must ensure that the folder names are identical. A slight variance could see a different show scraped for the second folder.
I've done this successfully for another show.

But now with another show, I have all the season in location A and its newest season in location B. If I refresh my Library, the TV Show gets a duplicate in the Library. So the first has all files from location A and the second one has the files from location B. They need to be under one and the same show. The folder names are exactly the same.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Nvm, fixed it myself.

I logged on to the database and I found 2 entries for this particular TV show.

Solution was to have the exact same tvshow.nfo in both locations, remove both entries from the Library completely and then do a rescan.
The tvshow.nfo was not exactly the same in both folders, so it created two entries in the database. After deleting both shows from the library, they are no longer in the database.
Doing a refresh after loads both locations and since the tvshow.nfo files are now the same, it does not create a second entry in the database but understands it's the same show.
