how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-18
Hi guys,
I created a custom page which I want to show the movie recent added on it, I did it and I showed the recent added but the movie is not there only show in home page.
I edited the IncludesHomeRecentlyAdded.xml to be matched with custom list ID instead of list ID in home page but still cannot see the movie icon.
I noticed that the movie db is related in home page but if I want to matched with custom page didn't work.
What other file I have to edited to get my case?
Thank you!
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
I noticed this HomepageHideRecentlyAddedVideo is related to only show in home page...can I change it to be in custom page instead of Home page? ![Huh Huh](https://forum.kodi.tv/images/smilies/question.png)
Thanks for all
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Hitcher - 2018-10-19
Yes, you just need to add the name of the window whose property it belongs to - in this case home.
https://kodi.wiki/view/InfoLabels#Window
xml: $INFO[Window(home).Property(LatestMovie.1.Thumb)]
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
Can I replace instead of HomePage to be a custom page in this skin setting: Skin.HasSetting(HomepageHideRecentlyAddedVideo)
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Hitcher - 2018-10-19
You can change to whatever you want as long as you make a button for it.
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
So if my custom page name is MovieFun I can make it like this : Skin.HasSetting(MovieFunPageHideRecentlyAddedVideo) ?
Thanks for your help
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Hitcher - 2018-10-19
Yes but you'll need to add a button somewhere that toggles MovieFunPageHideRecentlyAddedVideo for you.
Like the one in skinsettings.xml for HomepageHideRecentlyAddedVideo.
xml: <control type="radiobutton" id="205">
<description>Show Recently added Video info</description>
<width>750</width>
<height>40</height>
<font>font13</font>
<textcolor>grey2</textcolor>
<focusedcolor>white</focusedcolor>
<label>31117</label>
<onclick>Skin.ToggleSetting(HomepageHideRecentlyAddedVideo)</onclick>
<selected>!Skin.HasSetting(HomepageHideRecentlyAddedVideo)</selected>
<texturefocus>MenuItemFO.png</texturefocus>
<texturenofocus>MenuItemNF.png</texturenofocus>
</control>
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
I created a new radiobuuton in skinsetting.xml:
xml: <control type="radiobutton" id="229">
<description>Show Recently added Video New</description>
<width>750</width>
<height>40</height>
<font>font13</font>
<textcolor>grey2</textcolor>
<focusedcolor>white</focusedcolor>
<label>31117</label>
<onclick>Skin.ToggleSetting(MovieFunPageHideRecentlyAddedVideo)</onclick>
<selected>!Skin.HasSetting(MovieFunPageHideRecentlyAddedVideo)</selected>
<texturefocus>MenuItemFO.png</texturefocus>
<texturenofocus>MenuItemNF.png</texturenofocus>
</control>
then I attached it in custom page like this:
xml: <include condition="!Skin.HasSetting(MovieFunPageHideRecentlyAddedVideo) | !Skin.HasSetting(HomepageHideRecentlyAddedAlbums)">HomeRecentlyAddedInfo</include>
and I edited in includesHome RecentlyAdded.xml to be match with custom page but still cann't see the movie icon!
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
my case I can not show the movie added in custom page but it shows in home page!
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
It looks like List ID 8000 which is inside IncludesHomeMenuItems.xml is attached with home page and I couldn't attach it with my custom page. Or maybe I doing something wrong!
RE: how to show the movie recent added in custom window - Spiderfish - 2018-10-19
@Hitcher
When I converted the custom page to be as home page the recent added video Icon shown but when I reverted to custom page I just see the lable "Recently added movies" without see the video icons?
