Add url source via file manager showing empty directory - OptimusGREEN - 2018-12-12 Hi, I've moved to a new web host and am having a problem getting files to show in a directory. I've added http://optimusgreen.com/mymedia/photos as a source in file manager but when I navigate to it, it appears empty, when I open in browser it shows the directory. my .htaccess file is fine and I actually think the issue is with my host who have tried lots of things to resolve this issue and have now asked me to come speak to you guys. what protocols etc are used when Kodi access a web source? I would like to pass as much info back to them as possible so all help is welcome. Refusing to upload my gb's worth of media until this issue is resolved. thanks. RE: Add url source via file manager showing empty directory - OptimusGREEN - 2018-12-13 so this was solved by my host moving me to an apache server. I was on a litespeed server. This is maybe something the devs should consider looking at in an update as these servers may become an issue if they are the future. here is the response I got.
