Hello,
I hope you're all having a great day.
My name is Kirollos. I am in the last year of computer engineering college in Ain Shams University(ASU) , Cairo , Egypt.
I have a good knowledge of c++ , Python and Mysql.
I'm going to begin using MariaDB as I've never used it before.
I would like to work on this idea and Maybe adding another ideas to it.
I Need some help regarding where I should start?
BTW. I have noticed that there are other students who are working on the same project. So is it ok if I work on it too?

Hey there, nice to have you.
You can absolutely work on this too, but be aware, we will likely pick the best proposal or the most promising student.
Regarding just doing mariaDB, that will be a problem. First sqlLite will need to work as that's what 98 percent of kodi instances run. (guesstimate)

Thank you for your response and sorry for my delay response.
I have made sqlite work and learnt a little with its interface with C . I also got mariadb server working.
Along with that I have been trying to make a contribution but there're some issue building it.
I feel stuck somehow.. I could use some advice.
