Slideshow user control issue (next, previous, ...) - or "No sync with folder view" - CNeutron - 2019-03-26

What I do: I start the picture slideshow on Picture 1, let it run through 5 pictures, and stop the slideshow
What I expect: Picture 6 should be selected
What I get: Picture 1 is selected
My Problem with this behaviour is if I watch one of my picture folders which consist of more than 700 pictures/videos I cannot stop the slideshow, and fast skip a few pictures , and resume the slideshow afterwards (imagine a Dinseyland Trip, where I just do not want to see the 100 pictures my little kid took in the middle of the trip of the "small world")

sorry, I forgot. the issue exists since kodi 17, and on both Windows7/10 and Ubuntu 18.04. The PCs I'm using are middle class PCs bought within the last 2 years (so no Atom, Raspberry, ... but also no super gaming graphics hardware)
