KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - tom.58 - 2019-04-16 I'm about to get crazy.... Due to a crash I had to set up parts my video database. The scraper did a fine job then, but I had to add about 10 films manually. By trying to add these movies I found, that there is a video (movie) which has a NFO file in his folder made by the former database, but this nfo is completely ignored ! I am not able to add this movie even manually, Kodi permanently refuses to recognize it. I am always sent back to the manual input, even when the title is written right as described in imdb. HELP please... don't know how to add this movie... there seems to be no way... (tried KODI 18.1 and 17.6... ) RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - Karellen - 2019-04-16 Post the contents of the NFO File to Kodi Paste Site and provide the link RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - tom.58 - 2019-04-16 (2019-04-16, 12:23)Karellen Wrote: Post the contents of the NFO File to Kodi Paste Site and provide the linkNFO file is HERE (Kodi Paste Site) RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - Karellen - 2019-04-16 Nothing wrong with the nfo contents. Can you provide a screenshot of your movie folder so I can clearly see the files and naming. Also the Debug Log that captures you trying to scrape the movie into the library. Do you need the nfo file? Why not delete it and let Kodi scrape the movie? I'm gonna try to delete the nfo file first... .... deleting did not help. Where do I find the log file ? Here is the log file RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - LongMan - 2019-04-16 Could the fact IMDB and theTVDb has 'Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn" as a mini series, not movie be a factor? That would do it. Scrape it as a tv series (ie put it in your tv series folder) or make a custom .nfo if you want it in movies. But I already tried to scrape it as TV-series without success ... it behaves as not being in any database (imdb e.a) any more. Looking at the log, the scraper is trying to scrape online and ignoring the nfo file. @tom.58 That screenshot will help. So here it is using wetransfer RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - Karellen - 2019-04-16 To upload pictures... If the image is on your computer, then use button 19. If the image has already been uploaded to a public image hosting site, right click the image and select Copy image location then use button 14 and paste the link I have the image and it all looks fine. The only other thing I can think of is the file format, but I did not mention this earlier because if Kodi created these files, the format would be ok. Can you check your files are UTF-8 encoded... RE: KODI (Scraper?) ignores (own) NFO file - Karellen - 2019-04-17 @tom.58 Well I am at a loss. 1. Your nfo file contents I pasted into a nfo file here and it scanned ok. 2. The nfo name correctly matches the movie name 3. The nfo file is in the correct format. The only other thing I can think of (and clutching at straws here) is maybe Kodi does not like your character set in the file name with all that punctuation. Can you rename your folder, video file and nfo file to... Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn (2012) If that does not work, then I have no clue what the problem is but it is obviously something on your local setup only or the forum would be flooded with posts like yours. Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn (2012)....Yes I had the same idea before but renaming did not help either... Thanks for your help Karellen ! |
