ArgusTV Addon disabled after todays v19 alpha installed (25th Apri) - i0zjh02 - 2019-04-25
Hi
I'm trying out the latest v19 alpha dailies and noticed ArgusTV is deemed incompatible and disabled. Does anyone have an idea if this is a short term issue and will be fixed?

Same thing happens with PVR IPTV Simple. Cannot be enabled or updated. Well, some breakage is to be expected with alphas, let's hope the add-on maintainers update their add-ons quickly.

Well, 'maintained' is not exactly the right word. The addon has no active maintainer for a long time. All I do is to keep it building as long as possible. But without a maintainer the next bigger functional pvr addon API change will kill that addon for sure.

PVR addons are still c++ only right? If they were Pyhton based, I'd be happy to have a fair crack at this....

We currently have some issues with building binary addons on Windows. For all other platforms the v19 addons are available, though. No idea when the build issues will be solved. Keep in mind, v19 is in pre-alpha state.
