Leia not playing episodes after conversion from Krypton - RikLijkendijk - 2019-05-19 I am a big fan of Kodi and have been using it since it was first released as xbmc on the original xbox 1!!! First my current setup. I have collected hundreds of movies en thousands of tv-episodes wich i keep divided over two qnap NAS devices (each having two disks and not using any raid). I have four folders with tv shows (two on each nas one per disk ) and two movie folders on first nas one on each disk. Part is accessed through nfs and part through smb (historical reasons). My setup works like a charm on my three Kodi-Krypton devices (PC Windows 10, Android media player and Raspberry Pi 3B) using a shared MySQL database (also on nas) This week i decided to go from Krypton to Leia. The database was converted by Leia and the first impression was that everything was OK. On closer inspection it turned out that not everything was OK. When activating TV Shows from the main menu i see the complete list of all my shows but i cannot access them. When selecting a show I see the "running circle" with the "Working" message for about 15- 20 seconds and i am still in the list. (No difference in nfs or smb) The strange thing is that i CAN till access and play the shows when going to Videos from main menu, then selecting Files and browse to any episode or movie i want. The Movies work OK. I can select and play them from the Movies item on the main menu. First i thought something must have gone wrong in the conversion as performes by Leia, but i deleted the databases from my MySQL server and started Leia again and thereby performing a new conversion. The result was the same. I have tried this from my PC and from my Android player, but each time the result is the same. On my PC i have both versions present. Since they use different databases on the MySQL server i can run both. (Not simultaneously). Kodi Krypton still works but Leia keeps being a difficult princess (lol) Any ideas anyone? The instructions are here... debug log (wiki) If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied... 1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, 2.Restart Kodi 3.Replicate the problem. 4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here. If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki) In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum RE: Leia not playing episodes after conversion from Krypton - RikLijkendijk - 2019-05-20 I have created and uploaded the debug log. The link is https://paste.kodi.tv/umewelakeh I have looked at it and it seems that the problem is a MySQL problem accessing the season_view. I looked at the view from phpMyAdmin and the result was an "Error writing file /tmp/blabla Errcode 28). My guess is that somewhere in the conversionprocess something went wrong. I just can't figure out what. Greetz, Rik Lijkendijk RE: Leia not playing episodes after conversion from Krypton - Karellen - 2019-05-20 Thanks. Others have reported the same problem with MySQL and were able to solve it by increasing sort_buffer_size. Read posts here... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=340095&pid=2823811#pid2823811 Also be aware you are using an unsupported version of MySQL. Line 400...
