System menu disabled on Raspberry Pi - Stefke - 2019-05-25 Hi, Relatively new to Kodi. After some playing around and testing, and using Confluence as my preferred Skin, I wanted to have my setup as a dedicated Music Player. For that I wanted the interface to be as minimal as possible, so I disabled all menu options apart from 'Music', as I won't be using those other options (TV, Movies, Games, Weather etc) But I also disabled 'System'. Hmmm, now that is totally inaccessible. I can't seem find anything on this forum related to fixing this. There's some info on modifying files on Windows etc, but if I plug my SD card in my PC, I don't see any of those files that need to be edited. Any way to get the System option back? And is there any way to have this linked to a keyboard shortcut, so if I still want to disable the menu option, it would still be available, but just not visible? Many thanks. Cheers, Stefan RE: System menu disabled on Raspberry Pi - Karellen - 2019-05-25 https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=343997 RE: System menu disabled on Raspberry Pi - Stefke - 2019-05-25 (2019-05-25, 00:47)Karellen Wrote: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=343997 Thanks. I did see that one, but as I said in my post, that refers to an install on Windows. I have a Raspberry Pi with LibreElec/Kodi on an SD card, and if I put that SD card in my computer (win10) I do not see any of those files. All I have is a folder called 'Overlays' and .dtb files and some others. No 'Settings.xml' or anything. RE: System menu disabled on Raspberry Pi - Karellen - 2019-05-25 I don't use LibreELEC, but looking at the wiki it states the userdata folder is in /storage/.kodi/userdata/ https://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata If that is of no help others will need to advise. Maybe @Hitcher can consider adding a shortcut to the shutdown menu? If you see a 'Userdata' share you can follow the instructions in Karellen's link. Thanks! So, was able to restore without having to do a full install again. Still keen to know if there's a way to disable all menu options from main view apart from Music, but have others like Add-On and System accessible another easy way (via keyboard shortcut?)
